About Our Music Director
Kari Zimmerman is our Children's Choir Director at St. Paul’s. Kari has been singing in the Episcopal Church for over 17 years, six of which have been at St. Paul's. This summer, Kari was an assistant director for the Diocesan Music Camp for the first time and looks forward to many summers to come! She has lived and worked in the Houston area her whole life and has been in a choir every year since she was in fourth grade. After receiving her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Houston, Kari began teaching private voice lessons in 2002 and has been teaching elementary music for the past five years. Kari also sings in the choir and it is always a treat to her sing!
Safe Church
St.Paul’s Episcopal Church is committed to providing a safe environment free of abuse, exploitation, and harassment of anyone. This is part of our baptismal covenant in which we promise "to respect the dignity of every human being.” Training resources through Safeguarding God’s Children and Safeguarding God’s People are required for various leadership, volunteer and staff positions who work with and around our youth and children.
