Father Ed is always here to listen, encourage, and help us with multiple pastoral needs. But sometimes, there are areas where more specialized counseling may be needed in our lives.

Through a first of its kind grant through the Episcopal Relief and Development, St. Paul’s/San Pablo was awarded a two-year grant that will fund a Behavioral Health Specialist to be on staff full-time at the church to help anyone wishing to receive professional counseling. The service is absolutely free so we encourage you to contact our therapist and see how she can help with any one of life’s challenges that we all face. Who should go to counseling?

Everyone! Counseling can help you manage stress, anxiety, grief and loss, improve family relationships, establish boundaries, address trauma, and define or meet your life goals. Just because you seek help does not mean there is something "wrong" with you. Benefits of counseling provides a safe place to share with someone who will be there to support you and provide confidentiality. You can increase your self esteem, reduce stress and have someone that listens to you. You will never be judged for what you disclose.
